My favourite things about Loyalist College
The size, I love knowing so many people at the school
My favourite things about Belleville
I have lived here my whole life with the exception of 3 years when I went to another college. Belleville is small but not too small, it’s not far from Toronto, Kingston & Ottawa.
Why I enjoy working on campus
Seeing everyone & making new friends – I love the people I work with.
My favourite place to hang out on campus
Why I chose Loyalist/What attracted you to your program?
The location & size – I love living in the country & the population of College & Belleville is perfect for me.
My favourite Loyalist professor
Vern Belos
My favourite Loyalist class/Most interesting class taken so far
Placement, it was great, it really gave me a lot of related experience to my studies
My Orientation experience
I was a student leader/volunteer for the past 2 years and it’s so much fun helping out all of the new students and seeing them enjoy themselves at all the activities, especially the Shark Tank Pub.
Why I enjoy getting involved with Varsity Athletics?
Because they are my family, our team is so close & our fans are the most supportive in the province.
What advice do you have to offer students on staying balanced between their academic responsibilities and social life?
Make sure you have fun, get involved BUT at the same time, make sure you stay on top of your studies.
Why I recommend Loyalist to other students?
It’s the best College in Ontario! Everyone is so close and the staff care about the school and the students.
My post-graduate plans
Go out in the real world and get a job! I might start my own business or try to get a job with a sporting company.
